North Central New Mexico's Events

Aug 2004               The Espanola Library is pleased to announce a series of summer exhibits in conjunction with the statewide summer reading program “Readiscover New Mexico”. In August “Railroad History of the West” focusing on the New Mexican era will be on display. All exhibits will fill the display case in the library with interesting and colorful books, photographs, text and other archival materials relating to these southwestern themes.  Aug 20 – Sep.6     21st Season of Music from Angel Fire. The Festival that brings exquisite, world-class chamber music to the magnificent Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico. Residents and visitors alike have been dazzled season after season by the renowned international artists that perform an impressive array of works from the great Classical, Romantic, Baroque and Contemporary masters. Aug 21                  4:00p.m. – 8:00 pm. Arte de Descartes V, a juried recycled art show will open at the Stables Gallery (133 Paseo del Pueblo Norte) in downtown Taos.
